Chimney Liner Installation in Mississauga
The liner is what separates combustion gases from the structure of your house. If it is missing, cracked or badly sized, heat and acidic condensate reach the masonry and the framing behind it. Unlined or failed clay-tile flues are the most serious defect we find in older Mississauga and Brampton homes, and they are almost always invisible without a camera.

What we do
Chimney Liner Installation in Mississauga — how it works
A stainless steel liner sized to the appliance restores draft, protects the masonry, and satisfies both TSSA requirements for gas and WETT expectations for solid fuel. Sizing matters as much as the material: an oversized flue on a modern high-efficiency appliance condenses and corrodes just as surely as no liner at all.

- White staining or damp on the chimney chase wall inside the house

Local knowledge
What this looks like around Mississauga
Downtown Mississauga brick built before the war was designed for coal, then reused for oil, then for gas — often with no liner at any point. If your home predates 1950 and has an original stack, assume it needs scoping before you burn anything else in it.
In Burlington and Oakville we most often line for wood inserts. A large open masonry flue around a modern insert will not draft properly and will condense creosote fast; a correctly sized insulated liner solves both problems at once.
FAQs
Questions homeowners ask us
How much does a chimney liner cost in Mississauga?
$2,200 to $4,800 installed for most homes. Gas appliance liners at the lower end, insulated wood-appliance liners and full relines with tile breakout at the upper end. Flue height, offsets and diameter are the main drivers.
Do I legally need a liner?
Gas appliances vented into masonry must be lined to a properly sized flue under TSSA requirements, and solid-fuel appliances need a liner that meets the installation standard for your insurer's WETT documentation. In practice, unlined is not an option.
How long does a stainless liner last?
Quality 316Ti stainless with proper insulation carries a lifetime warranty and realistically outlasts the appliance it serves. Cheap thin-wall aluminium flex, which we do not install for solid fuel, does not.
How long does installation take?
Most single-flue liner installations are completed in one day. Relines that require breaking out old clay tile can extend into a second day.
